Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Symptom Table

NOTE:

Perform self-diagnoses with CONSULT before performing the symptom diagnosis. If any DTC is detected, perform the corresponding diagnosis.

Discharge air temperature (driver side) does not change. Front air mix door motor (driver side) system installation condition

Check front air mix door motor (driver side) system properly installed.

Discharge air temperature (passenger side) does not change. Front air mix door motor (passenger side) system installation condition

Check front air mix door motor (passenger side) system properly installed.

Air outlet does not change. Front mode door motor system installation condition

Air inlet does not change. Intake door motor system installation condition

Front blower motor does not operates or operation speed is not normal.

Check front blower motor circuits.

Compressor does not operate.
  • Magnet clutch

  • Magnet clutch power supply or ground circuit

  • IPDM E/R (smart FET)

  • The circuit between ECM and refrigerant pressure sensor

  • Refrigerant pressure sensor

  • ECM

  • A/C auto amp.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
  • Insufficient cooling

  • No cool air comes out. (Air flow volume is normal.)

  • Magnet clutch control system

  • Drive belt slipping

  • Cooler cycle

  • ECV (Electrical control valve)

  • Air leakage from each duct

  • Sunload sensor

  • Temperature setting trimmer

  • Insufficient heating

  • No warm air comes out. (Air flow volume is normal.)

  • Engine cooling system

  • Front heater hose

  • Front heater core

  • Air leakage from each duct

  • Sunload sensor

  • Temperature setting trimmer

Noise is heard when the air conditioning operates. During compressor operation Cooler cycle

During front blower motor operation
  • Mixing any foreign object in front blower motor

  • Front blower motor fan breakage

  • Front blower motor rotation inferiority

Check front blower motor.

Refer to Component Inspection (Front Blower Motor).
Biometric cooling control does not activate. IR sensor

Check IR sensor.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Login ID control does not operate. (Air conditioning function only) A/C auto amp.

Replace A/C auto amp.

Refer to Removal and Installation.
Automatic intake control (exhaust gas / outside odor detecting mechanism) does not operate
  • Fuse

  • Exhaust gas / outside odor detecting sensor power supply and ground circuit

  • Exhaust gas / outside odor detecting sensor

  • Exhaust gas / outside odor detecting sensor control signal circuit

  • A/C auto amp.

Check exhaust gas / outside odor detecting sensor power supply and ground circuit.
