CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check back door auto closure control unit power supply and ground circuit.
Refer to XXX.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK DTC WITH BACK DOOR AUTO CLOSURE CONTROL UNIT
Check that DTC is not detected with back door auto closure control unit.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 3.
NO>>Refer to DTC Index.
CHECK OPEN SWITCH
Check open switch.
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK CLOSE SWITCH
Check close switch.
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 5.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK HALF LATCH SWITCH
Check half latch switch.
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 6.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
CHECK BACK DOOR CLOSURE MOTOR
Check back door closure motor.
Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 7.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
REPLACE BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
Replace back door lock assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Confirm the operation after replacement.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>GO TO 8.
REPLACE BACK DOOR AUTO CLOSURE CONTROL UNIT
Replace back door auto closure control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Confirm the operation after replacement.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>INSPECTION END
NO>>Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
