REMOVAL
Remove fuel filler base assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation.
Rotate and disengage fuel filler lid lock assembly 
fixing pawls according to the numerical order 1→2 indicated by arrows as shown in the figure, and then remove fuel filler lid lock assembly.

INSTALLATION
Note the following item, and then install in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
After installation, check fuel filler lid base assembly open/close operation.

OIL LEAKAGE
Make sure that oil is not leaking from final drive assembly or around it.
OIL LEVEL
Remove engine under cover. Refer to Exploded View.
CAUTION:
The ignition switch OFF while checking oil level.

Inspection
INSPECTION AFTER REMOVAL
Move joint up/down, left/right, and in the axial direction. Check for any rough movement or significant looseness.
Check boot for cracks or other damage, and also for grease leakage.
If a malfunction is found, disassemble drive shaft, and then replace with new one.
