DRIVING VIDEO RECORDER CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT
Replace driving video recorder control module. Refer to Removal and Installation.

WRITING OF VIN DATA TO DRIVING VIDEO RECORDER CONTROL MODULE
With CONSULT
Ignition switch ON and wait at least 5 seconds.
Select “Write vehicle identification number (manual input)” of “Work support” item using CONSULT.
Touch “Start” at “Write vehicle identification number (manual input)” screen to write the VIN data into new driving video recorder control module.
GO TO 3.
DRIVING RECORDER INITIALIZATION
Touch to
display the settings menu, and then touch "Dash Cam".
Touch "Reset All DashCam Settings to Default" in "System" to reset the driving recorder settings.
GO TO 4.
PERFORM DRIVING VIDEO RECORDER CONTROL MODULE CONFIGURATION
With CONSULT
Touch "Replace ECU" of CONSULT, Perform driving video recorder control module configuration according to CONSULT.
>>GO TO 5.
PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS
With CONSULT
Perform a self-diagnosis for “Driving Video Recorder”. Refer to CONSULT Function.
Check DTC.
Are any DTCs detected?
YES>>Perform the trouble diagnosis for detected DTCs. Refer to DTC Index.
NO>>WORK END
Inspection
WARNING:
FLUID LEAKAGE
FLUID LEVEL
CAUTION:
Never start engine while checking fluid level.
Install filler plug on transfer and then tighten to the specified torque.
CAUTION:
Never reuse filler plug.
Specified torque : 37.5 N·m (3.8 kg-m, 28 ft-lb) ...
Draining
WARNING:
The ignition switch OFF.
Remove engine under cover. Refer to Exploded View.
Remove drain plug and gasket.
Drain gear oil.
Set a gasket on drain plug and install it to final drive assembly.
CAUTION:
Never reuse gasket.
Tighten drain plug to the specified torque. Refer to Exploded View.
