Description

WARNING:

  • Jacking up or lift up the vehicle may the vehicle height to go down which cause a personal injury and/or damage to the air suspension component parts. Refer to Precaution for when Jacking and Lifting Up the vehicle with Electronic Air Suspension System.

When replacing the Sub-TCM, perform the following work. For work procedure, refer to Work Procedure.

WORK AFTER TCM REPLACEMENT

  • Vehicle specifications writing

    NOTE:

    Since vehicle specifications are not yet written in a new Sub-TCM, it is necessary to write them with CONSULT.

  • MAC key writing

Work Procedure

WARNING:

REPLACE SUB-TCM

Replace Sub-TCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

GO TO 2.

WRITING vehicle SPECIFICATIONS

With CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Select "Sub-TCM".

  3. Select "Replace ECU".

  4. Perform the work according to the procedure displayed in CONSULT.

GO TO 3.

WRITE MAC KEY

  1. Perform MAC key writing, Refer to Description.

  2. Clear any DTCs that may have set and then test drive the vehicle.
