CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSTIC RESULTS
With CONSULT
Perform self-diagnosis for “DIFFERENTIAL LOCK”.
Is any DTC detected by self-diagnosis?
YES>>Check the malfunctioning system. Refer to DTC Index.
NO>>GO TO 2.
CHECK DIFFERENTIAL LOCK MODE SWITCH OPERATION
Check differential lock mode switch circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES >>GO TO 3.
NO>>Repair or replace the error-detected parts.
CHECK DIFFERENTIAL LOCK CONTROL UNIT POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT
Check differential lock control unit power supply and ground circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace the differential lock control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace the error-detected parts.
Differential Lock Indicator Lamp Does Not Turn on
Differential Lock Indicator Lamp Flashes While DrivingDiagnosis Procedure
NOTE:
CHECK REFRIGERANT CYCLE PRESSURE
Connect recovery/recycling recharging equipment to the vehicle and perform pressure inspection with gauge. Refer to Symptom Table.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>
GO TO 2.
NO>>
Repair or replace parts depending on the inspection results.

The ignition switch OFF.
Remove filler plug . Fill up with new transfer fluid up to mounting hole for the filler plug.
Recommended fluid and capacity: Refer to Fluids and Lubricants.
CAUTION:
Carefully fill the fluid. (Fill up for approximately 3 minutes.)
