CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY MAIN SWITCH OPERATION
With CONSULT
Turn ignition switch ON.
Select "Main switch" in "Data Monitor" mode of "Head Up Display” using CONSULT.
Check "Main switch" indication as per the following condition.
Monitor item Condition Indication Main switch Head Up Display main switch Press the switch On Except above Off
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>GO TO 3.
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY UNIT POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
Check the Head Up Display unit power supply circuit. Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace Head Up Display unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY MAIN SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect Head Up Display unit harness connector and Head Up Display main switch harness connector.
Check the continuity between Head Up Display unit harness connector and Head Up Display main switch harness connector
Head Up Display unit Head Up Display main switch Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M56 13 M155 1 Existed
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 4.
NO>>Repair or replace harness or connector.
CHECK HEAD UP DISPLAY MAIN SWITCH
Check the Head Up Display main switch. Refer to Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace Head Up Display unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace Head Up Display main switch. Refer to Removal and Installation.
