Y62 refers to the previous-generation Armada, while Y63 is the third-generation model. Engine and Transmission

The Y63 generation uses a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 in place of the naturally aspirated V8 used by the previous generation. Standard-output versions are rated at 425 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque.

The twin-turbo V6 allows Nissan to deliver more quoted power and torque while pairing the engine with a more modern transmission and updated vehicle architecture. The trade-off is that it has a different sound and response character from the older naturally aspirated V8.
