WARNING:

Before servicing, disconnect ground line of battery. Refer to Precautions for Removing Battery Terminal.

Prevent accidental activation. Refer to Precaution for Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) "AIR BAG" and "SEAT BELT PRE-TENSIONER".

REMOVAL

Seat Belt Pre-tensioner Retractor (LH and RH)

Slide second seat to front most position.

Remove anchor plate mounting anchor bolt .

Remove shoulder anchor.Remove rear pillar finisher. Refer to Removal and Installation. Remove shoulder anchor mounting anchor bolt , and then remove shoulder anchor.

Disconnect seat belt pre-tensioner retractor harness connector .

CAUTION:

Never damage harness connector.

NOTE:

Remove seat belt pre-tensioner retractor mounting anchor bolt and bolt , and then remove seat belt pre-tensioner retractor.

CAUTION:

Never place seat belt pre-tensioner retractor in an area where the temperature reaches 80°C (176°F) or more.

Center Seat Belt Retractor

Disengage seat cushion trim fixing retainers. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

Remove center anchor plate mounting anchor bolt .

Remove seatback trim and pad as a set. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly.

Remove center seat belt retractor mounting anchor nut , and then remove center seat belt retractor.

INSTALLATION

Note the following item, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

When connect harness connector, press harness connector until the clicking sound.
