Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Door Does Not Lock/unlock with Door Lock and Unlock Switch

All Door

Description

All doors do not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CIRCUIT (DOOR LOCK)

Check door lock and unlock power supply and ground circuit.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure (front door lock) and Diagnosis Procedure (rear door lock).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

CHECK DOOR LOCK AND UNLOCK SWITCH

Check door lock and unlock switch.

Refer to Component Function Check (driver side) or Component Function Check (passenger side).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

  1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Driver Side

Description

Driver door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator (driver side).

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

  1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Passenger Side

Description

Passenger door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator (passenger side).

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

  1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Rear Lh

Description

Rear door LH does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator (rear LH).

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

  1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.

Rear Rh

Description

Rear door RH door does not lock/unlock using door lock and unlock switch.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR LOCK ACTUATOR

Check door lock actuator (rear RH).

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

  1. Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Confirm the operation after replacement.

Is the result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
