When performing inspection or maintenance tasks on your Nissan Armada, always take appropriate precautions to prevent injury and avoid damaging the vehicle.

The following safety guidelines should always be observed when working on your Nissan Armada:

WARNING

  • Park the Nissan Armada on a level surface, apply the parking brake firmly, and block the wheels to prevent movement. Ensure the transmission is in P (Park).
  • Always switch the ignition OFF before performing repairs or replacing components in the Nissan Armada.
  • Never connect or disconnect the battery or electronic components while the ignition is ON.

  • Never go underneath the Nissan Armada when it is supported only by a jack. Always use appropriate safety stands.
  • Keep flames, sparks, and heat sources away from the fuel system and battery.
  • The Nissan Armada is equipped with an automatic cooling fan that may activate unexpectedly. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before working near the fan.
  • Fuel system components in gasoline-powered Nissan Armada models are under high pressure, even when the engine is off. It is recommended to have these components serviced by a NISSAN dealer.

CAUTION

  • Do not perform work under the hood while the engine of the Nissan Armada is hot. Allow sufficient time for cooling.
  • Avoid direct contact with used engine oil or coolant. Improper disposal of automotive fluids can harm the environment. Always follow local regulations when disposing of fluids from your Nissan Armada.
