Description
Perform the third seat RH position initialization when the following conditions are performed. For details, refer to Work Procedure.
- Replacing third seat control unit RH.
- Replacing third seat RH.
- Manual function and folding function of third seat RH does not operate normally.
Work Procedure
CHOOSE METHOD
There are two ways of initialization method.
Which method do you choose?
With CONSULT>>GO TO 2.
Without CONSULT>>GO TO 3.
WITH CONSULT
With CONSULT
- Ignition switch ON.
- Perform "Third seat RH position initialization" in "Work support" mode of "THIRD SEAT RH" using CONSULT.
- After initialization is complete, the buzzer sounds twice.

GO TO 4.
WITHOUT CONSULT
Without CONSULT
- Stop the vehicle and start the engine.
- Press the reclining switch RH (forward).
- Press the reclining switch RH (backward) within 1 second.
- Press the reclining switch RH (forward) within 1 second.
- Press the reclining switch RH (backward) within 1 second.
- After repeating steps 4 and 5 three times, release the reclining switch RH.
- After initialization is complete, the buzzer sounds twice.

CHECK THE FUNCTION
Check that manual function and folding function operates normally.
