Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Work Procedure

Description

When replacing the electrical brake control unit, the procedures of AFTER REPLACEMENT must be performed.

CAUTION:

If the electrical brake control unit is undamaged, do not decide to replace it based on DTC detected in the past.

AFTER REPLACEMENT

After replacing the electrical brake control unit, the following items must be performed:

Work Procedure (After Replace Electrical Brake Control Unit)

PERFORM ELECTRICAL BRAKE CONTROL UNIT PROGRAMMING

With CONSULT

Perform electrical brake control unit programming, according to “Programming” of CONSULT Operation Manual. Refer to CONSULT Operation Manual.

CAUTION:

During programming, maintain the following conditions:

  • Ignition switch: ON

  • Electric parking brake: Apply (Models with electric parking brake function)

  • Electric load: OFF

  • Brake pedal: Not depressed

  • 12V battery voltage: 12 – 13.5 V (Check the value displayed on the CONSULT screen.)

GO TO 2.

PERFORM NECESSARY WORK

With CONSULT

  1. Perform air bleeding. Refer to Bleeding Brake System.

  2. Perform stroke sensor calibration. Refer to Work Procedure.

  3. Perform self-diagnosis for “All DTC Reading”.

  4. Erase the memory of self-diagnosis results.
