WARNING

Failure to properly follow the instructions and safety guidelines for the Nissan Armada LDW and I-LI systems may result in serious injury or even fatal consequences.

  • The Nissan Armada LDW and I-LI systems are driver-assist technologies and will not take full control of steering or prevent loss of vehicle control. The driver must remain attentive, maintain proper lane position, and always retain full control of the Nissan Armada.
  • These systems are primarily designed for use on well-marked highways and freeways. Under certain driving, weather, or road conditions, the Nissan Armada may not accurately detect lane markings, which can affect system performance.

 

  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) system
    • In the Nissan Armada, the LDW system alerts the driver through visual indicators on the vehicle information display and steering wheel vibration when the vehicle unintentionally drifts out of its lane.
  • Intelligent Lane Intervention (I-LI) system
    • The Nissan Armada I-LI system enhances safety by not only warning the driver but also applying gentle steering assistance to help guide the vehicle back toward the center of the lane.
