Description
Both side headlamps (LO) are not turned ON in any condition.
Diagnosis Procedure
COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION
Check combination switch. Refer to Symptom Table.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
CHECK LOW BEAM REQUEST SIGNAL
With CONSULT

Select “Low beam request” in “Data Monitor” mode of “IPDM E/R” using CONSULT.

With operating the lighting switch, check the monitor status.
Monitor item Condition Monitor status Low beam request Lighting switch 2ND On OFF or AUTO* Off *: Only when the illumination judgement by auto light function is OFF.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
