COMBINATION SWITCH INSPECTION
Check combination switch. Refer to Symptom Table.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>GO TO 2.
NO>>Repair or replace the malfunctioning part.
CHECK POSITION LIGHT REQUEST SIGNAL
With CONSULT
Select “Position light request” in “Data Monitor” mode of “IPDM E/R” using CONSULT.
With operating the lighting switch, check the monitor status.
Monitor item Condition Monitor status Position light request Lighting switch 1ST On OFF or AUTO* Off *: Only when the illumination judgement by auto light function is OFF.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES>>Replace IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation.
NO>>Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.
