Description

All doors do not lock/unlock using door request switch and engine does not start when push-button ignition switch is pressed while carrying Intelligent Key.

SYMPTOM TABLE (BOTH INTELLIGENT KEYS HAVE THE SAME SYMPTOMS)

Door lock operation (remote keyless entry) Door lock operation (one touch sensor or request switch of front/rear/back door) or trunk/back door open operation (opener switch of trunk/back door panel) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (registered Intelligent Key is within the detection area of inside key antenna) Engine started with push-button ignition switch operation (registered Intelligent Key placed next to push-button ignition switch) Unlock operation when approaching the vehicle, lock operation when away from the vehicle (registered Intelligent Key is within the detection area of outside key antenna)
NG NG No crank, No start OK NG

DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY SYSTEM SYMPTOM TABLE

Check Intelligent Key system symptom table.

Refer to Diagnosis Procedure.

GO TO 2.

CHECK INTELLIGENT KEY BATTERY

Check Intelligent Key battery.

Refer to Component Inspection.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE INTELLIGENT KEY UNIT

  1. Replace Intelligent Key unit. Refer to Removal and Installation.

  2. Check operation after replacement.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
