WARNING
- Do not park or stop your Nissan Armada over combustible materials such
as dry grass, paper, or cloth.
These materials may ignite due to heat from the exhaust system and cause a fire hazard.
- Never leave the Nissan Armada engine running while the vehicle is unattended, as this may create dangerous situations or lead to unauthorized vehicle movement.
- Do not leave children unattended inside the Nissan Armada. They may accidentally operate controls or systems, which could result in serious injury or accidents.
- To prevent injury or fatal accidents, never leave children, pets, or
individuals requiring assistance inside the Nissan Armada.
Temperatures inside a closed vehicle can rise rapidly, even on moderately warm days, creating life-threatening conditions.
- Always follow proper parking procedures by engaging the parking brake and shifting the transmission into P (Park). Failure to do so may allow the Nissan Armada to roll unexpectedly.
- Ensure that the transmission cannot be shifted without pressing the brake pedal to avoid unintended movement.
1. Apply the parking brake securely in your Nissan Armada.
2. Press the park button to shift the transmission into the P (Park) position.
3. When parking the Nissan Armada on a slope, it is recommended to turn the wheels appropriately to reduce the risk of vehicle movement:
- HEADED DOWNHILL WITH CURB: 1
Turn the wheels toward the curb and slowly move the Nissan Armada forward until the tire gently contacts the curb. - HEADED UPHILL WITH CURB: 2
Turn the wheels away from the curb and carefully roll the Nissan Armada backward until the tire lightly touches the curb. - HEADED UPHILL OR DOWNHILL, NO CURB: 3
Turn the wheels toward the roadside so that if the Nissan Armada moves, it will roll away from traffic rather than into it.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position before exiting the Nissan Armada.
NOTE:
Use the Idling Stop System when the Nissan Armada is stationary for short periods, such as at traffic lights. For longer stops or when parking, always turn the engine off to conserve fuel and reduce emissions.
