Basic information
CAUTION
- Avoid directing high-pressure water, such as from a pressure washer, onto or around the Nissan Armada fuel-filler door area.
- Always ensure the fuel-filler door is securely closed before using an automatic or high-pressure car wash.
Opening the fuel-filler door

To open the Nissan Armada fuel-filler door, gently press the right side of the door until it releases.
How to refuel

The Nissan Armada is equipped with a capless fuel-filler system, eliminating the need for a traditional fuel cap.
After opening the fuel-filler door, insert the fuel pump nozzle directly into the opening. Once the nozzle is removed, the system automatically seals itself to prevent fuel vapor escape.
To refuel your Nissan Armada properly:
Insert the fuel nozzle slowly and fully into the filler neck before beginning refueling.
Do not move or adjust the nozzle while refueling is in progress.
After the automatic shut-off occurs, wait approximately 5 seconds before removing the nozzle to ensure proper fuel flow completion.
Close the Nissan Armada fuel-filler door securely after refueling.
If refueling from a portable container is necessary, always use the designated funnel provided with your Nissan Armada.
CAUTION
- Do not attempt to open the internal flaps of the Nissan Armada fuel-filler opening using tools or objects other than a standard fuel nozzle.
- The fuel system is designed specifically for standard fuel station nozzles. Using narrow or non-standard nozzles may damage the system.
- If fuel spills onto the Nissan Armada body, rinse immediately with water to prevent paint damage.
WARNING
- Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive. Always turn off the Nissan Armada engine and avoid smoking or open flames near the vehicle while refueling.
- Do not attempt to overfill the fuel tank after the nozzle automatically
shuts off.
Overfilling may cause fuel overflow, which can lead to fire hazards or fuel spray.
- Never pour fuel directly into the engine intake system.
- Do not fill portable fuel containers while they are inside the Nissan
Armada or a trailer.
Static electricity may cause ignition of fuel vapors, leading to fire or explosion. To reduce risk:
- Place the container on the ground before filling.
- Avoid using electronic devices during refueling.
- Maintain contact between the nozzle and the container.
- Use only approved fuel containers for flammable liquids.
When refueling from a portable fuel container

If you need to refuel your Nissan Armada using a portable container, use the funnel A stored in the dedicated storage bag under the luggage board.
Insert the funnel slowly and fully into the fuel-filler opening. Then insert the portable container nozzle into the funnel and carefully fill the tank.
After refueling, remove the funnel, clean it thoroughly, and store it back in its designated location.
CAUTION
- Never insert a portable fuel container nozzle directly into the Nissan Armada fuel-filler opening without the funnel, as this may cause damage.
- Always use the original funnel supplied with your Nissan Armada to avoid damaging the fuel system.
The Nissan Armada fuel system is designed for maximum safety, convenience, and efficiency, ensuring reliable performance and easy refueling under all driving conditions.
