Description

Perform the steering column position learning when the following conditions are performed. For details, refer to Work Procedure.

  • Replacing steering column control module.
  • Steering column does not operate normally.

Work Procedure

CHOOSE METHOD

There are two ways of learning method.

Which method do you choose?

With CONSULT>>

GO TO 2.

Without CONSULT>>

GO TO 3.

WITH CONSULT

With CONSULT

  1. Ignition switch ON.

  2. Perform "Steering column position learning” in "Work support" mode of "STEERING COLUMN” using CONSULT.

WITHOUT CONSULT

Without CONSULT

  1. Disconnect battery terminal.

  2. Connect battery terminal.

  3. Activate exit assist function. Refer to exit assist function system.
