Speed Adjust by Route is an intelligent feature available in the Nissan Armada as part of the advanced ProPILOT Assist 1.1 and 2.1 systems. When Speed Adjust by Route is active in the Nissan Armada on limited-access highways, the system utilizes navigation data to anticipate road geometry. It automatically adjusts the vehicle’s speed when approaching freeway curves or interchanges, helping provide a smoother and more controlled driving experience. However, the system may not reduce speed in all situations, and the driver must always be ready to apply braking when necessary.

After passing through curves or interchanges, the Nissan Armada will gradually accelerate back to the previously set cruising speed, maintaining driving efficiency and comfort.

• This system does not bring the Nissan Armada to a complete stop. The driver must apply braking whenever required.
• The system does not operate on entrance or exit ramps, even when driving on highways.
• The driver is always responsible for selecting an appropriate speed, following traffic laws, and monitoring surrounding traffic.
• Speed Adjust by Route is not available in certain regions, such as Hawaii or U.S. island territories.
• The Nissan Armada system may behave unpredictably or fail to adjust speed correctly under certain conditions, requiring manual driver intervention.

  • When the map locator system cannot connect to retrieve updated navigation data.
  • When the navigation system software license has expired.
