Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Vehicle Security Alarm Does Not Activate

Description

Alarm does not operate when alarm operating condition is satisfied.

Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK DOOR SWITCH

Check door switch. Refer to ComponentFunctionCheck.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Replace the malfunctioning door switch

CHECK HOOD SWITCH

Check hood switch. Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3

NO>>

Replace the malfunctioning door switch

CHECK HEADLAMP FUNCTION

With operating the lighting switch, check that the headlamp is turned ON or OFF.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.

CHECK HORN FUNCTION

Check horn function. Refer to Component Function Check.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.

REPLACE BCM

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

INSPECTION END

NO>>

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident.
