Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Additional Service When Replacing Adas Control Unit 2

Without Propilot Assist 2.1

Work Procedure

Always perform the additional service after replacing the ADAS control unit 2.

ADAS CONTROL UNIT 2 CONFIGURATION

Perform saving vehicle internal information according to "Replace ECU" in CONSULT Operation Manual.

>>

GO TO 2.

VIN REGISTRATION

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

  2. Turn ignition switch ON.

    NOTE:

    If ignition switch is not turned OFF after setting configuration, ADAS control unit 2 may detect DTC.

  3. Perform VIN registration. Refer to Work Procedure.

GO TO 3.

WRITING MAC KEY

Perform MAC key writing. Refer to Work Procedure.

>>

GO TO 4.

STEERING TORQUE CALIBRATION

Perform the steering torque calibration. Refer to Work Procedure.

>>

GO TO 5.

PERFORM SELF-DIAGNOSIS

Check if the DTC is detected on the self-diagnosis results of “ICC/ADAS 2”.

Is any DTC detected?

YES>>

Perform the trouble diagnosis for the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

NO>>

GO TO 6.

ACTION TEST

Perform the system action test to check the operation status of one of the following systems:

  • AEB: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • RAB: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • ProPILOT Assist 1.1: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-LI: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-BSI: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • TSR: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-DA: Refer to Work Procedure.

INSPECTION END

Perform saving vehicle internal information according to "Replace ECU" in CONSULT Operation Manual.

GO TO 2.

VIN REGISTRATION

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF.

  2. Turn ignition switch ON.

    NOTE:

    If ignition switch is not turned OFF after setting configuration, ADAS control unit 2 may detect DTC.

  3. Perform VIN registration. Refer to Work Procedure.

GO TO 3.

Perform MAC key writing. Refer to Work Procedure.

GO TO 4.

STEERING TORQUE CALIBRATION

Is any DTC detected?

YES>>

Perform the trouble diagnosis for the detected DTC. Refer to DTC Index.

NO>>

GO TO 6.

ACTION TEST

Perform the system action test to check the operation status of one of the following systems:

  • AEB: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • RAB: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • ProPILOT Assist 2.1: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-LI: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-BSI: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • TSR: Refer to Work Procedure.

  • I-DA: Refer to Work Procedure.
