The Nissan Armada driving recorder system is designed to capture high-quality video and photo footage from both the front and rear of the vehicle, providing an additional layer of safety, documentation, and convenience. All recorded content can be easily accessed and reviewed directly on the Nissan Armada touchscreen display or through a connected smartphone, allowing drivers to monitor and manage recordings at any time.

In addition to video capture, the Nissan Armada driving recorder is capable of recording audio inside the vehicle, giving a more complete overview of driving conditions and events.

• The Nissan Armada driving recorder offers multiple recording modes, including continuous (general) recording, which automatically saves footage at fixed intervals, and Event Recording, which is triggered either manually or by detecting an impact to the vehicle.
• When the storage capacity of the microSD card is reached during general recording, the system will automatically overwrite the oldest files. To prevent loss of important footage, it is strongly recommended to regularly back up data from your Nissan Armada driving recorder.
• Event recordings and photo captures are protected and will not be overwritten automatically. However, if the storage limit of the microSD card is exceeded, new data cannot be saved and a notification will appear on the Nissan Armada display. In such cases, it is advisable to delete unnecessary files periodically.

All recording functions in the Nissan Armada are disabled by default upon initial use. It is recommended to activate these features through the touchscreen settings menu before beginning your journey to ensure proper operation and full functionality.

Precautions of the driving recorder

• Immediately after switching the ignition ON, the Nissan Armada driving recorder requires a short initialization period and will not begin recording instantly. Please wait until the system is fully operational.
• After inserting a microSD card into the Nissan Armada system, recording will not start until the card has been properly recognized and loaded. Allow sufficient time for initialization before use.
• If the interior temperature of the Nissan Armada becomes excessively high or low, the recording and Wi-Fi functions may temporarily stop to protect system components. Adjust the cabin temperature using the air conditioning system to restore normal operation.
• There may be slight differences in timestamp data between recordings from the front, rear, and interior cameras in the Nissan Armada system.
• Recording may be triggered unintentionally in certain situations, such as:
  • A strong impact to the vehicle body
  • Forceful opening or closing of doors
• The Event Recording function in the Nissan Armada is designed to activate during collisions. However, in cases of minor impact, recording may not be triggered.
• Audio quality may be affected by noise inside the cabin or external environmental sounds, which can influence the clarity of recordings.
• Image quality may vary depending on lighting conditions, distance to objects, and environmental factors, potentially affecting visibility in recorded footage.
• When recording LED traffic lights or similar light sources, flickering or color distortion may occur due to camera sensor characteristics.
• Recorded footage from the Nissan Armada driving recorder is not guaranteed to be admissible or fully reliable as legal evidence in traffic incidents.
• The overall quality of audio and video recordings may vary depending on driving conditions and cannot be guaranteed under all circumstances.
