Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Owner's Manual: Basic information

WARNING

Failure to properly follow the usage guidelines and safety instructions for the RCTA system in the Nissan Armada may result in serious injury or even death.

  • The Rear Cross Traffic Alert system in the Nissan Armada is designed as a supplemental aid and does not replace attentive driving. It is not capable of preventing collisions on its own. When reversing out of a parking space, always visually check your surroundings using mirrors and by turning your head in the intended direction of travel. Never depend solely on the Nissan Armada RCTA system.

The Nissan Armada Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) system provides additional awareness when reversing from a parking space. It is engineered to detect approaching vehicles from both the left and right sides and notify the driver to help avoid potential collisions.
