Nissan Armada 2025-2026 Service and Repair Manual: Front Wheel Hub and Knuckle

Inspection

WARNING:

  • Jacking up or lift up the vehicle may the vehicle height to go down which cause a personal injury and/or damage to the air suspension component parts. Refer to Precaution for when Jacking and Lifting Up the vehicle with Electronic Air Suspension System.

COMPONENT PART

Make sure that the mounting conditions (looseness, backlash) of each component and component conditions (wear, damage) are normal.

WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY (BEARING-INTEGRATED TYPE)

Check the following items, and replace the part if necessary.

  • Move wheel hub and bearing assembly in the axial direction by hand. Check there is no looseness of wheel bearing.

    Axial end play : Refer to Wheel Bearing.
  • Rotate wheel hub and make sure there is no unusual noise or other irregular conditions. If there is any of irregular conditions, replace wheel hub and bearing assembly.
